4-H CLUB

Rowlesburg 4-H clubs have been in existence since the 1940s. Currently the Etam Eagles 4-H club, under the direction of Crystal Dean, is still maintaining an educational and recreational experience for youth today fron the age of 9 up to 21.

The motto: "To Make The Best Better" continues to be the goal of club members.

4-H refers to Heart, Hand, Health and Head.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

SCOUT OATH: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

RAHS has set up a scholarship fund in honor of Joycelynn Ayersman and to benefit students in this area who wish to continue their education after graduating from
High School.

PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION (PTO)

The role of the PTO is funding all the athletic teams including middle school boys and girls and Grasshopper teams. It pays for the majority of the field trips and supplemental classroom literature, assists with the state-mandated student reward programs, funds school band activities and performs school projects.

VOLUNTARY AMBULANCE SERVICE (RVAS)

RAVS is looking for new members, EMT's, Drivers, Aides or non active members to help with fund raisers, etc.

Membership is $30.00 per year per household and includes one trip to the hospital without any additional cost whether you have insurance or not. If you are interested in becoming an EMT, funds will be made available for your training
