Christ United Methodist Church serving Rowlesburg since 1915.

The roots of the church are grounded in a rich Methodist tradition. Originally the church was known as the Methodist Episcopal Church until the mid- sixties when it became Christ UMC.

Services are conducted every Sunday at 11:00 AM with Sunday school preceding church at 9:30 AM.
Choir practice: Wednesday 7:00 PM.
UM Women: First Thursday at 7:00 PM

Rowlesburg Southern Baptist Church

Rowlesburg Southern Baptist Chapel began holding services in 1981 and became Rowlesburg Southern Baptist Church in 1987.

The church was the largest building in town not affected by the flood of 1985. It provided shelter for the homeless, and became the headquarters for feeding people for the next three weeks. A tent was set up next to the building, and members of the community and the church worked together to serve 700 - 800 meals three times a day with some days totaling near 1000 servings per meal.

St. Philomena Catholic Church

St. Philomena Catholic Church was established as a parish and worshiping community in 1867. Religious services were conducted on a weekly basis. The Parish Church closed in 1996 because of a diminished Catholic population in the town of Rowlesburg.

Catholic services are presently conducted at St. Sebastian Church in Kingwood:
Weekday at 8:00 am
Saturday at 5:30 pm
Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:00 am (Summer schedule)
